Some words about our kennel
Nordic Storm is a young breeding FCI kennel, registered in 2008. Our greenland dogs are regularly trained sporting dogs that succeed remarkably. But they are also apple of our eyes (the same as the rest of the dogs living with us), treating as they're our children. In free time after training season we attend sometimes dog shows because even though we don't like them much we still like when champions are getting into our way... ;-)
All dogs live in a huge enclosure with the surface area of ca. 0,7 ha. In the addition from the enclosure we have portioned out three smaller ones with the surface area of ca. 220 m2. There is also built there 5 covered pens, each with the surface area of 8 m2. These are the conditions we required from ourselves for our dogs not because of the breeding kennel but simply for offering them the best possible existence.
The stimulus for raising the breeding kennel was the need to enlarge our greenland dog pack. We have imported Blackie, the excellent female from Norwegian breeding and we have planned the mate with proven imported reproducer - the same that gave us two first great dogs, Shantu and Sayuk. In our opinion new blood is very important for Polish population of greenland dogs and that's why the next litter will be with imported male Viggo, who is also excellent sporting dog.
We believe they are dogs with perfect build predisposing for effective and easy motion but above all with strong will to tireless pulling in a team - "tireless berserkers fighting with every meter, every second"...
Our vision is that the puppies from our kennel will be close to this ideal at least in part. And we are convinced that they should go only to active and regularly training mushers and this will be the significant criterion (among others) of future owners choice.
